Ipsloop is for everyone passionate about electronic music in Suffolk. We have a shared goal to get more people out enjoying music locally.
What we're about
Ever been out in town and thought, “Where the f*ck do I go now?”, it’s only 10pm and you’re left thinking, “Where is everyone?” – that’s the story of Ipsloop’s birth. After some digging, we found there’s actually a lot happening, it just seems no one knows where to look for it.
So, we look for it. We have been showcasing events from sound system takeovers in pubs on the estate to 3-day festivals in one weekend since December 2025. We just want to see more people on the dancefloor or in front of the rig next to us
Alongside this, we discuss the history of the electronic and sound system scene in Suffolk through archive footage and deep dive research. The roots run deep around here, from Grime to Acid House raves and everything in between.
Then, Giv It a Spin came next – Ipswich’s only regular open decks aimed to champion new talent, celebrate our county’s diversity and work towards balancing the current underrepresentation within the dance music industry.
