Bring what you've got
Digital or vinyl, bring records or USB. We supply a laptop with Rekordbox, if you are using any other DJ software, you will need to bring your laptop.
Ipswich’s only beginner friendly open decks.
Hosted by Ipsloop, in partnership with The Church, we have created an inclusive, safe environment for people who want to test the waters playing in front of people before they take on bigger booked gigs.
Bring your tunes, digital or vinyl, play the songs you want to hear and feel the love from a room full of people that are eager for new energy in Ipswich. We hope to see you around soon, behind the DJ booth, on the dance floor or sat down with a pint or pizza tapping ya toes!
How the night works
Take a slot
Ask ahead for one of 8 slots, 30 minutes each. Use the form below to secure a slot.
Play whatever
House, techno, jungle, disco, ambient - all of it welcome. We organize the night based on whatever people play - slower sets first, harder to the end.
If it's your first time, say so on the form and we'll make sure someone to accommodate this. For vinyl, we can talk you through the mixer before the room fills up. Digital, please ensure you already have a USB that has tunes formatted through Rekordbox previously.
